Xavier Loyola

BIOGRAPHY

Born in Zarauz, Xavier Loyola draws and paints from childhood; begins to make sculpture in 1988 and continues its learning process with a disciple of Henry Moore, expanding techniques and materials, and continuation with the sculptor Jorge Oteiza.

Attend courses at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Bilbao. In this period alternates exhibitions with the production of graphic work, painting, sculpture, design
graphic and digital photography; makes photographic reports on architecture and related projects in magazines, catalogs, books.
Between 1995 and 2010 he receives different prizes, for example, the Novel Artists of Guipuzcoa, the Award "750th anniversary of Zarautz" for the realization of a monumental work. The 1st Prize
